Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I switch to Burch Dental Solutions?

Choosing the right dental laboratory is about more than receiving a restoration—it's about having a reliable partner you can count on. At Burch Dental Solutions, we combine high-quality craftsmanship, digital technology, and personalized service to help your practice deliver predictable results. Our technicians communicate directly with doctors when needed, helping reduce chair time, minimize remakes, and keep your patients satisfied. Whether you're sending your first case or your hundredth, we're committed to making the process easy and dependable.

How quickly can I expect my cases back?

Turnaround times vary depending on the type and complexity of the restoration. We work hard to provide consistent, dependable delivery schedules and will communicate expected completion dates when your case is received. If you have a time-sensitive case, let us know—we'll do our best to accommodate your needs whenever possible.

What if my current lab is cheaper?

While price is important, the true cost of a restoration includes chair time, adjustments, remakes, and patient satisfaction. A restoration that fits accurately the first time can save valuable clinical time and improve your patient's experience. Our goal is to provide consistent quality and responsive service that delivers long-term value to your practice—not just a lower invoice.

What scanners do you accept?

We accept digital impressions from most major intraoral scanning systems. If you're using a digital scanner and aren't sure how to connect with our lab, our team will guide you through the process. If you use traditional impressions, we're happy to accept those as well.

Can I see samples of your work before sending a case over?

While our very best work goes straight to our clients, we are more than happy to provide a discounted first case to you so that you can test out our work on your own patients.

What is your remake policy?

While remakes are not common for our lab, we do offer remakes free of charge if the reason for the remake is the fault of the lab. For remakes of lost dentures or remakes based on doctor changes, we do charge full price unless otherwise arranged.

How do you communicate with dental offices?

We pride ourselves on our personal communication with our many clients. Our clients know us by voice as we speak with them often. Garet, our owner, is often on the phone with dentists discussing cases. You can reach our office by phone: 947-570-1050, text: 248-983-2116, or email: info@burchdentalsolutions.com.

Can I speak directly with a technician?

Yes. We encourage direct communication between our doctors and technicians whenever it helps achieve the best outcome. Whether you have questions about case design, materials, shade selection, or a complex treatment plan, our team is available to collaborate with you throughout the process.

Where can I send photos that go with my cases?

We love when doctors send photos with their cases! This makes it much easier to match a smile and get a great feel for what the restoration’s end result should be. We prefer if you send photos via text or email.

Do you offer custom shades?

Yes, we do offer custom shades. We understand that esthetics are critical, especially for anterior restorations. When appropriate, we offer personalized shade matching to help achieve natural, lifelike results that meet both your expectations and your patient's. Your patient is welcome to make an appointment with our team with the help of your office or they are welcome to call on their own and make an appointment to stop by the lab for their custom shade evaluation. These appointments typically take no longer than 15 minutes.

Can you help with case planning and design?

Absolutely. Our team of experts is available to assist with case planning, material selection, and design recommendations to ensure the best possible outcome for your patients. We work with doctors on a wide variety of implant restorations and are happy to discuss treatment options, restorative design, material selection, and case planning before treatment begins. Early collaboration often leads to smoother appointments and more predictable results.

What are your billing and payment policies?

We offer various payment options, including credit cards, checks, and online payments. Invoices are issued upon case completion, and we provide detailed billing statements at the beginning of each month via email. Monthly statements are set at net-15.

How do I become a new doctor?

Getting started is simple. Contact our team by phone or through our website, and we'll help you set up an account, provide everything you need to send your first case, and answer any questions along the way. We strive to make the transition from your current lab as smooth and hassle-free as possible.
